Worship Services

Restoration -- a new worship experience

On Sunday, January 8th at 6:00pm, our new, casual alternative worship experience starts.

Meet in the Fellowship Hall behind the church. The service, called Restoration, will be a great opportunity to come as you are, enjoy some snacks and have a meaningful encounter with God to help you prepare for your week ahead.

Sunday morning worship service

Worship starts at 11:00 am and ends at noon.  Our worship service currently leans toward traditional, though not "High Church" (also see "Low church" defined ).  We have a blend of music styles and an order of worship that is not rigid.

Also, our Worship Work Area prepares special altars for selected services and special occasions.

Communion

Communion: Eat. Pray. Love.

We hold The Sacrament of Communion once per month.  The order of worship for that service is slightly different.

We serve Communion at the altar rail for those that can come or in the pews for those who cannot. Communion itself usually uses bread and grape juice that we serve individually.

Gluten-free bread is available on request.

Communion cup, grapes, breadWe sometimes hold Communion by intinction (dipping bread into a goblet of grape juice).

Unlike some denominations, our communion is open to all Christians.

For kids during morning worship...

Nursery

We have skilled and loving adults prepared to care for your children through age 2. The nursery is located in "The Gathering Place" building next to the sanctuary. An usher can escort you and your child to the nursery.

Children’s Worship Bags

Activity bags for children are available in the church entry area (narthex). These bags should help your child in their worship experience.

For those with disabilities...

Assisted Listening Devices for the hearing impaired and large-type editions of the United Methodist Hymnal are available. Just ask an usher for help getting these items.
